One of our most recently awarded franchisees, Nandini Chatterjee and her husband Samrat, began their journey from the United Kingdom nearly three years ago.

They had always dreamed of one day moving to the U.S. and owning a business that allowed them to control their financial freedom. That day came when a chance online search brought them to Maui Wowi and the adventure was born.

Finding the business was the easy part for Nandini and Samrat, who became instantly attracted to the idea of a fun, tropical themed coffee and smoothie company. Going through the franchise buying process, the two of them had lots of help along the way that guided them toward the finish line. After being awarded a franchise agreement, their focus shifted to acquiring an E2-Visa, which would allow them to officially move to America and begin a new life and new business.

The E2-Visa requires a significant amount of commitment be shown in order to be granted. Signing a lease on a business location would help fulfill that commitment. With everything riding on securing a lease for their Maui Wowi store, Nandini and Samrat, put their heart and soul into the process. With help and support from the Maui Wowi ‘ohana, they found the perfect place to open their piece of paradise, Oceanside, California.

The lease is signed and the Visas granted, making their dreams a reality. The two of them and their young daughter are moving to America to begin a new adventure with Maui Wowi near the beaches of Southern California.
