There’s a reason Maui Wowi® customers can’t get enough of our smoothies: Our rich, creamy delights are created using the finest fresh fruits and vegetables. Best of all, we don’t use artificial flavors or colors.
You see, our product line was created in an effort to provide families a healthy alternative to sugary, fat-laden refreshments. That’s why we use natural sugars like bananas to sweeten our smoothies. So, you can bet that every smoothie on our menu isn’t just healthy but tastes good, too – because to us, healthy doesn’t mean bland; it means getting creative
That unforgettable Maui Wowi® taste comes from two things: (1) quality ingredients and (2) expert technique.
We use the best grade of everything. We measure pulp levels, color and acidity to ensure we use Grade A juice in every smoothie. We also keep natural disasters that may affect crop growth in mind, so we know if we need to source fruits and vegetables elsewhere.
The blending process is just as important as the sourcing process, too. Whipping enough air into the smoothie so it’s rich and creamy as opposed to icy and chunky is crucial to recreating that perfect flavor in every cup.
Oh, and we are sure to serve every Hawaiian delight with a side of fresh Aloha Spirit as well.
Part of serving excellent smoothies is providing Maui Wowi® customers with an unforgettable experience, and that starts with presentation. We take pride in never wavering in this department.
We taste every smoothie before our customers do. If the result is chunky or the flavor is off, we don’t serve it. Most importantly, we offer our customers more value by always overfilling the cup and topping it off with a parasol; it’s something we’ve done since our infancy.
As our fearless founder, Jill Summerhays always says, “If we can’t overfill the cup, we haven’t made the drink correctly.” Focusing on perfection from the very beginning means our recipes have stayed the same since we debuted in 1983 at the Utah State Fair. That’s right; we’ve been using the same recipes since then (although we’ve added new flavors).
Altogether, it’s why our customers love our smoothies and why they refer to them as “a vacation in a cup.”
“I think one of my biggest a-ha moments was seeing people leave jobs for Maui Wowi®. You really can make a full-time income as a part-time business owner and spend time where it counts most – with family.”
Maui Wowi Founder
We may not be the only smoothie franchise, but we’re the most unique because we serve a very niche market. But what’s so revolutionary about our business model? When you franchise with Maui Wowi®, you have the opportunity to run your business on the road using our proprietary Ka’anapali Cart, a.k.a. K-Cart.
Having a mobile business means bringing Maui Wowi®’s beloved products directly to customers at their favorite events and venues. This makes it easy to build a loyal following in your local area or find new customers further away from home. You can even travel with your business across the country. Unlike brick-and-mortar smoothie franchise opportunities, Maui Wowi® franchise owners claim events and venues, not territories.
Altogether, this translates to less overhead since you don’t have to pay rent, and more importantly, extra quality time with your family and friends. Plus, you get the added bonus of watching your favorite sports teams and entertainment groups while “working.”
