Salt River Fields at Talking Stick® welcomes Maui Wowi® as a vendor during the 2017 Spring Training season, February 22 through April 1, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Maui Wowi will be serving freshly blended fruit smoothies to baseball fans from its tiki-hut style mobile cart inside the ballpark. This is Maui Wowi’s first year at Salt River Fields, the spring training facility of the Arizona Diamondbacks® and Colorado Rockies®, which has an 11,000-seat capacity, 12 practice fields, and spans 140 acres.
Maui Wowi is proud to be among new and existing food and beverage vendors and to offer fans delicious smoothies that are gluten free and a healthier snack alternative.

Maui Wowi franchisees John and Shannon Portugal will be overseeing operations of their versatile mobile Maui Wowi cart at Salt River Fields. The couple, who lives in Temecula, California, own and operate a variety of units located at events and venues throughout their home state. This is their first time expanding their business across state lines and opens the door to future opportunities for their business and the brand in the Arizona market, where Kahala Brands is headquartered.
A variety of delicious smoothie flavors like Strawberry, Mango Orange, and Black Raspberry will be available at the venue throughout spring training. Just look for the festive Hawaiian-themed cart and say ‘Aloha.’
